Urban Donut
During the production of this video, there were some unfortunate casualties among the donuts. Many of them met their demise as I delicately suspended them with fishing wire to achieve the perfect pendulum swing for the crane shot. Toppings went flying, it got messy, but oh, was it delicious. Urban Donut is situated in the heart of Dallas, nestled amidst towering skyscrapers. Located in an area reminiscent of an island, with trolley cars bustling to and fro, it offers a unique escape. Concept: Ever experienced that irresistible early morning craving for a donut? As you navigate through the bustling city traffic, donuts seem to pop up everywhere. But right in the center of town, there's a place where you can satisfy that craving in peace. Process: - Scouting locations - Story Boarding - Designing Graphics - Post Production

Deep Ellum Art Fest
In celebration of the Deep Ellum Art Festival in Dallas, our production team set out to scout the best local artists and bring the event to life to share with the greater area on social media. Process: Our team took turns on location to shoot the 7-block event. Back in the studio, we reviewed and selected the best clips of the day and used audio directly from a band that played at the event. This was a fun project as we cut and spliced the clips, sped up frames to give the sensation of walking through the street, and slowed down frames as though stopping to observe vendors or the band. These effects helped the audience join in on the journey and the fun.

Agency Cover for Facebook
This 15-second cover video sets an exciting mood and tone for Zooba's Facebook page. Targeting Dallas, TX, and using descriptive words like "classic, vibrant, and forward-moving," we first developed a mood board of stock photography that captured the agency's feel. Adding a loop created a continuous effect, with some clips moving quickly to showcase different images. It helped to grab the interest of those scrolling by.

Interview Jitters
Cigna is a multi-billion-dollar healthcare company that hires over 19,000 employees annually. As one of six advisors overseeing national campaigns for employer brand and recruitment marketing, I played a key role in projects aimed at attracting candidates to our expanding teams. Here's how I contributed: Video Editing: After assisting in script writing, my primary role was to incorporate lower thirds with speaker names, captions, and the company logo. One of my favorite techniques for enhancing captions is applying a black stroke around white text. This ensures the text stands out against brighter backgrounds, preventing it from blending in. Script Writing: Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team, we finalized the copy in just three rounds. Project Management: I maintained project benchmarks in Airtable, ensuring the team stayed informed about our progress.

Time Lapse - Logo
I wanted the agency to show off the talents of their designers in a fun way, so we decided to create short time-lapse videos! We kicked things off by setting up a scene with the designer at their desk, sketching away. Then, with a bit of tech magic, we got their computer set up to record the evolution of their work in real-time in Photoshop. Once we had all the footage, we cranked up the speed to create a super-fast time-lapse effect. Working together as a team, we then turned the logo into a cool motion graphic. It was a blast seeing everything come together.
